Holiday Ice Skating in Thousand Oaks CA

Since the opening of The Lakes high end retail center in Thousand Oaks CA, our version of a real winter comes to the area.  The Lakes hosts a wonderful ice skating rink during the holidays for anywhere from an individual skater to full parties. 

Tickets for one-hour of ice time is only $9.00 and you can rent skates (which are very clean - unlike bowling shoes) for only $4.00 additional.

This is yet another piece of winter that comes to the area to remind us Southern Californians that it is actually winter out there.

I have taken my children skating here over the last 2 years and they love it so much I get requests for a follow up ski trip to Big Bear. So if you are not careful, the joy that comes out of only $9.00 can turn into 3 days of lift tickets and a cabin rental!!
